VascuPen Vascular Lesion Treatment
What Is VascuPen and How Does It Work?
VascuPen is a specialized device used exclusively for treating superficial vascular lesions on the face. Using a fine, pen-like probe, it delivers a precise electrical current directly to the surface of the vessel, causing it to coagulate and collapse. The body then naturally absorbs the treated vessel over the following weeks, leaving the skin looking clearer and more even.
Because the probe targets each vessel individually, the treatment is highly accurate and controlled. It allows us to address even the smallest, most stubborn broken capillaries with a level of precision that broader light-based treatments simply cannot match. The surrounding skin is left undisturbed throughout the process.
What Can VascuPen Treat?
VascuPen is designed specifically for the face and works particularly well on vascular concerns around the nose, cheeks, chin, and the areas around the eyes. Common concerns we treat include spider veins and thread veins, broken capillaries, cherry angiomas, and general diffuse facial redness caused by visible surface vessels.
It is worth noting that VascuPen is a facial-only treatment. If you are looking to address spider veins on your legs, that is a different treatment entirely. We offer VascuLas specifically for leg vein concerns, and we are happy to discuss both options with you during your consultation to make sure you are booked for the right treatment.

Here is what makes VascuPen such an effective option for facial vascular concerns.

Is VascuPen suitable for treating veins on my legs?
No, VascuPen is a facial treatment only. For spider veins on the legs, we use VascuLas, a different technology designed specifically for that area. We can discuss both at your consultation.
How many sessions will I need?
Many clients see significant improvement after just one or two sessions, depending on the number and size of vessels being treated. We will give you a personalised estimate at your consultation.
How quickly will I see results?
Treated vessels begin to fade as your body naturally absorbs them over 2 to 4 weeks following treatment. Most clients see noticeable clearance within this timeframe.
Does VascuPen hurt?
Most clients describe a mild stinging or warm sensation during treatment. It is brief and generally very well tolerated.
